This results in easier penetration – which in turn means ease of use for clinicians and greater comfort for the patient. In Independent laboratory testing, Terumo needles were shown, on average, to be the sharpest among brands tested: 10% sharper than BD (22G - 30G) 16% sharper than Covidien (22G - 27G)
